Security officials in Ghazni said that a gang of four smugglers trafficking 25 children to Pakistan for terrorist activities were arrested in the province. Mustafa Mayar, acting chief of Ghazni police, addressed a press conference stated that armed anti-government groups wanted to smuggle the children aged 12-15 to Pakistan on pretext of teaching them religious subjects. Mayar added that 22 of the children are residents of Andar district, two residents of Dahek, and one resident of Waghez district. Taleban are yet to comment on the incident.
