Local officials in Nangarhar said that four people were injured in a magnetic mine explosion in Khewa district. They said that the mine was planted in a vehicle of tribal elders. Sayed Ashoqullah Sadat, district governor of Khewa, said that the incident happened around 8 am today. He added Malik Abdul Rawof, a tribal elder, and three others were injured. He further stated that police have started the investigation and the perpetrators will soon be identified and arrested. No group has claimed responsibility.
