A trilateral meeting of presidents of Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan is scheduled for today in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan. Tajik media reported that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will discuss peace, and stability in the region, fighting terrorism and extremism. Tajikistan is also hosting a Quadrilateral Summit of CASA-1000 member states of Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Tajikistan. The initiative aims at developing energy corridor and land connectivity between Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
