A US congressional delegation is visiting Afghanistan and will address a press conference today. The delegation, led by Senator John McCain, includes fellow senators Lindsey Graham, Elizabeth Warren, David Perdue and Sheldon Whitehouse. NATO Resolute Support Mission (RSM) has confirmed visit of the delegation but did not provide details. Afghan government has not commented on the visit yet. The five-member bipartisan delegation visited Pakistan before coming to Afghanistan. The visit comes as the Trump administration is expected to unveil a new Afghan strategy later this month.
