Afghanistan and Turkmenistan signed seven bilateral cooperation accords in Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan. The agreements were signed during the one-day visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to Turkmenistan on Monday. The agreements were about international road transport, cooperation in carpet industry, regulations on organsation of railway communication through the Turkmen-Afghan border between stations Akina- Imamnazar and International Railway checkpoint at the Turkmen-Afghan border. It is reported that both presidents talked about the current situation, the future of the Afghanistan-Turkmenistan relations and also about the regional and international issues.
