At least 16 people were either killed or injured in armed clashes among two tribes in Herat. Jailani Farhad, spokesman for Herat governor’s office, said that two tribes in Perishak and Tolak area of Farsi district clashed with each other. He added that six people were killed from both sides and 10 injured. The motive behind the incident is yet to be determined. Meanwhile officials in Herat police said that a delegation has been sent to further probe the incident.
