Taleban Shot 13 Youth in Balkh

Suspected Taleban insurgents shot dead 13 youth in Balkh province inside a mosque in Chamtal district on Saturday. According to the reports, the youth were residents of Balkh district and had come to Chamtal. Meanwhile Sher Jan Durrani, spokesman for Balkh police, confirmed the shooting in the district and said that the victims were not police or local police. Local officials said that an investigation has been launched to further probe the incident. The motive behind the incident is yet to be known. There was no immediate claim of responsibility by Taleban.
