Security officials in Balkh reported that Parwiz Kamgar, son of Zamarai Kamgar the owner of Afghanistan’s Kam Air airline, was killed in Khalam district. Sher Jan Durrani, spokesman for Balkh police, said that Parwiz Kamgar was killed today while on a hunting trip with his family. Durrani added that the circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear and stated that an investigation has been launched to further probe the incident.
