Local officials in Parwan reported that 10 Afghan security guards from Bagram Air Base were either killed or injured in Parwan. Abdul Shokor Qodosi, district governor of Bagram district, said that they were gunned down in Shakai village last night around 10:30 pm when they were on their way to Bagram Air Base. He added that eight of the guards were killed and two injured. No group has claimed responsibility for the shooting yet. Bagram Air Base is the largest US military base in Afghanistan.
