Security officials in Kapisa province said that at least 11 Taleban insurgents including three commanders were killed during clash with Afghan Local Police (ALP) yesterday. Mohammad Razaq Yaqoubi, chief of Kapisa police, said that the clash took place in Babakhel area of Tagab district. Yaqoubi added that Taleban wanted to overrun the village but faced fierce resistance from ALP. Yaqoubi further stated that seven local policemen were also injured and lots of Taleban ammunitions were seized. Taleban militants have not commented on the incident yet.
