President Ashraf Ghani met with members of National Assembly in ARG (presidential palace) yesterday evening and said that the aim behind the recent terrorist attacks in Kabul which resulted in killing and injuring of hundreds of people were to disrupt Kabul Process meeting. He added that the enemy did not want Afghanistan to host such an important meeting. A press release from ARG stated that Ghani will meet with different groups of citizens this week. The statement added that Ghani reiterated that resolving the current political and security dilemma needs national consensus. Meanwhile a number of MPs and senators said that demonstrations are the civic rights of all citizens but creation of tents and traffic jams have disturbed public transportation. They asked the government to address protesters’ legitimate demands.
