A relatively heavy explosion ripped through the Jame-Mosque in Herat during a funeral ceremony this afternoon. Local officials reported that at least seven people were killed. Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) said that seven people were killed and 16 injured in the incident. According to MoI, the explosives were placed on a motorbike which detonated at the entrance gate of the mosque. No group has claimed responsibility.
