At least five armed anti-government insurgents were killed and three vehicles were destroyed in a foreign forces’ airstrike in a part of Sangen district. A press release from Maiwand 205 Corps stated that the incident happened late yesterday when the insurgents were trying to attack police establishments and checkpoints. Armed anti-government groups are yet to comment on the incident.
