Local officials in Ghazni said that at least 10 Taleban insurgents were killed in clashes with Afghan security forces in Tawhid Abad area of the city last night. Chief of PD 3th of Ghazni Police Colonel Bashir Ahmad Taraki told Killid this morning that tens of Taleban insurgents launched coordinated attacks on police checkpoints in the area. He added that the clashes lasted hours resulted in killing of 10 Taleban insurgents. He further stated that Afghan security forces seized some weapons of Taleban. According to Taraki, tens of Taleban insurgents were injured but did not provide the exact figure. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the incident.
