Security officials in Nangarhar reported that 12 Daesh militants were either killed or injured in Afghan security forces’ operations in Chaparhar district. A press release from Selab 201 Corps stated that the operations were conducted last night in Konde Bagh area of the district. The statement added that 10 Daesh militants were killed and two injured. The statement further stated that the operation is going on successfully and there were no reports of Afghan security forces’ casualties. Daesh militants have not commented on the statement yet.
