At least 12 Taleban insurgents were either killed or injured in clashes with Afghan security forces in Farah province. Iqbal Baher, spokesman for Farah governor, said that the incident happened this morning in a part of Parcham district in which seven Taleban insurgents were killed and five injured. He added that security forces launched a clearing operation in the immediate area. He further stated that two policemen were injured. Taleban militants have not commented on the incident yet.
