A private hospital was closed in Kabul due to lack of standard health services. Lotfullah Nomani, secretary of Kabul provincial council, said that people’s representatives along with staff from department of law and examination of public health ministry, representatives of both Attorney General Office and criminal investigation department of Kabul police have started the survey over the past two weeks. He added that they shut Massoud Mustafa Private Hospital in Labjar area of 15th district for lack of standard health services. He further stated that they had closed Yashfin Private Hospital in 4th district for lack of standard health services last week. Nomani claimed that the reasons for the closure of the hospitals were lack of health services, nonexistence of registration, illegal drugs, lack of sanitation, and mistreatment of attendants with patients. Meanwhile Kabul residents complain of poor health services in hospitals and demand improved health services.
