Local officials in Jawzjan reported that Daesh militants decapitated a civilian in Qosh Tapa district yesterday. Rahmatullah Hashar, district governor of Darzab district, said that the man was decapitated in Sher Beg area of the district on charges of cooperation with government. He added that the identity of the man has not been identified yet but asserted that he was a civilian with no connection to the government. Daesh militants have not commented on the incident yet. Qosh Tapa and Darzab are disturbed districts in Jawzjan where armed anti-government groups including Daesh are actively operating.
