A prominent Daesh commander was killed and four civilians were injured in a US drone strike in Haska Mina district yesterday afternoon. A press release from Nangarhar governor’s office stated that the incident happened yesterday when a US drone targeted a vehicle of Daesh militants in Aghaz Ghonde area of the district. He further stated that Mohammad Ayub, a prominent Daesh commander, along with his driver, was killed. The statement added that the injured were transferred to the nearby hospital. Daesh militants are yet to comment on the incident
