Security officials in Kunduz said that the rate of crime in the province has fallen by 60 percent compared to last year. Waisuddin Talash, director of criminal investigation department at Kunduz police, said the cooperation of people with security forces was behind the fall in crime. Earlier Kunduz citizens had complained of insecurity and the presence of irresponsible armed individuals in the province.
