Security officials in Nangarhar reported that 15 Daesh militants were killed in an Afghan security forces’ airstrike in Chaparhar district yesterday evening. Brigadier Sheren Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 Corps, told Killid that the airstrike targeted a hideout of Daesh militants in Spen Jomat area of the district. He added that there were no civilian or military casualties. Daesh militants have not commented on the statement yet.
