At least 13 Taleban insurgents were killed or injured in Zafar 207 Corps’ operations in Herat and Farah provinces. A press release from Zafar 207 Corps stated that security forces launched operations in parts of Oba district of Herat in which three Taleban insurgents were killed and three others were injured. The statement added that security forces also launched a clearance operation in parts of Balabolok district of Farah in which three Taleban insurgents were killed and four others were injured. The statement further stated that four different types of mines were also confiscated and destroyed. The statement did not provide casualties among Afghan security forces during the operations.
