Local officials in Nangarhar said that some 30 Daesh militants were killed in Afghan security forces’ airstrikes in Achin and Haska Mina districts. Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor, told Killid that Afghan security forces targeted a military base of Daesh in Arghach area of Haska Mina in which nine Daesh militants were killed and tens of others were injured. He added that 19 Daesh insurgents were killed in Afghan security forces’ airstrikes in Mandara area of Achin district last night. Daesh militants have not commented on the incident yet. Achin and Haska Mina are disturbed districts in Nangarhar where Taleban and Daesh militants are actively operating.
