At least 39 Taleban insurgents were killed or injured in Badghis province over the past two days in operations launched by security forces. Zahir Bahand, spokesman for Badghis governor, told Killid the operation codenamed “Khalid” is being conducted in parts of Balamurghab district. Bahand added Afghan security forces confiscated 14 vehicles, 14 different weapons, and 27 different types of mine of Taleban. Badghis security officials said that Khalid operation will continue until all the areas are cleared of insurgents.
