At least three local officials of Bati Kot district of Nangarhar were injured in a roadside mine explosion. Local officials said that the mine exploded around 8 am this morning in Jani Khail area of the district. Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor, told Killid that Haji Ghalib Mujahid, district governor of Bati Kot, and chief of police and security head of the district were injured. No group has claimed responsibility.
