At least 11 civilian including women and children were killed in a roadside mine explosion in Nawa district of Helmand last night. Colonel Mohammad Rasoul Zazai, spokesman for 215 Maiwand Corps, said that a civilian vehicle was hit by a roadside mine in Mullah Abas area of the district. Meanwhile Zazai said that a Pakistani national was arrested in the district. Security officials from the district reported that he was arrested with dozens of mines. Nawa is a disturbed district of Helmand which is under Taleban’s dominance for the past one year.
