Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) announced that anti-drug police destroyed four heroin producing factories during a raid in Nangarhar last night. A press release from MoI stated that the factories were destroyed in Nakor Khail, and Kachar areas of Khogyani district. The statement added that 7,500 kgs of morphine, 810 kgs of ammonium chloride, 500 litres of liquid opium, and some chemicals that were used in the manufacture of heroin were confiscated and burned. Yesterday MoI announced that 13 drug traffickers were arrested in five different provinces.
