Afghan security forces attacked a seminary in PD 5th of Jalalabad, provincial capital of Nangarhar, two nights ago. A press release from Nangarhar governor’s office stated that two teachers of the seminary were also arrested. No casualties were reported during the operation and the motive behind the arrest of the teachers is not known yet. The statement added that Afghan security forces had come to Jalalabad from Kabul to conduct the operation. This comes as Afghan special commandos had conducted night operations in Khiwa district of the province and arrested several suspects in the past.
