MoI Foils Suicide Attack in Nangarhar

Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) thwarted a plot by armed anti-government groups to carry out a deadly suicide attack in Nangarhar.

Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) thwarted a plot by armed anti-government groups to carry out a deadly suicide attack in Nangarhar. A press release from MoI stated that a suicide bomber had planned to carry out the attack in an explosives-laden vehicle. The statement added that the suspect has been arrested and the vehicle has been confiscated. Taleban militants have not claimed responsibility yet.
