Two prominent commanders of Haqqani Network were killed in Ghazni province yesterday evening. A press release from the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) stated that the commanders identified as Maulavi Rashid and Mullah Gul were killed in an airstrike in parts of Geroe district yesterday evening. The statement added that a vehicle laden with explosives was also destroyed. The statement further stated that the commanders played a pivotal role in masterminding suicide and terror attacks in the province.
