Police Seize 30,000 kg Explosives in Parwan

Local officials in Parwan province reported that 30,000 kg of explosive materials were discovered, and the suspects were on the run. Abdul Shokor Qodosi, district governor of Bagram, said that the explosives found in Shaka area of Bagram district were put in 200 bags and buried in the ground. He added that Afghan security forces discovered the explosives yesterday. He further stated that the explosives would be transferred to Barekab area of the district and will be destroyed by Afghan security forces. Meanwhile Ziaurahman Sayedkhail, security head of Parwan police, said that the confiscated explosives were of high intensity.
