The Ministry of Agriculture Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) announced that some 120,000 people visited the spring exhibition in Kabul, generating more than five million Afs income for farmers. A press release from MAIL stated that the 18th agricultural exhibition which was organised for Nowruz (new solar year) festival in Badam Bagh in Kabul ended yesterday. In the exhibition, women’s handicrafts, different types of amended seeds (vegetables, beans and fruits), dairy products, agricultural products, packed standard products, dried fruits, agricultural machines, and greenhouse products were exhibited. The statement further stated that 89 contracts worth 162,457,150 Afs were signed between businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors, and farmers at the exhibition.
