Mahmoud Saiqal, Afghanistan’s permanent representative in the United Nations said that Pakistan has violated Afghanistan’s territorial integrity 59 times including three violations of air space in the past two months. Mahmoud Saiqal complained to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Friday against territorial integrity violations by Pakistan. Saiqal said, “Pakistan has fired 1,375 rockets at Afghanistan in the past two months that caused dozens of casualties and displaced 450 families.” Saiqal further stated that Afghan government earlier handed Pakistan list of terrorist safe havens that encompassed 32 terrorist sanctuaries and names of 82 members of Taleban and Haqqani Network. Saiqal stressed that Taleban has claimed responsibility for most of the recent suicide attacks in Kabul and reiterated that all of these attacks were masterminded in Pakistan.
