Today is National Day of Afghan Security Forces

Today, ninth of Hot in the Afghan calendar, will be celebrated as the National Day of Afghan Security Forces in the country. Recently Afghan cabinet chaired by President Ashraf Ghani  named ninth of Hot as day of Afghan security forces to appreciate and praise Afghan security and defense forces and to commemorate those soldiers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI), told Killid that this day is very important and historical for Afghan security forces. He added that Afghan security and defence forces will be appreciated across the country today. Earlier Presidential Palace (ARG) had promised to honour security forces with medals, certificates, badges, and cash prizes on the day.
