NATO’s senior civil representative reaffirmed long-term commitment to both the Afghan government and people. A press release from the office of chief executive sent to Killid stated that Ismail Aramaz, NATO’s senor civil representative, met with Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah yesterday in Sapida Palace and reaffirmed NATO’s long-term commitment and support to Afghan government. The statement added that the chief executive also stressed that NATO is a mutual partner with Afghanistan and relation between the two will further strengthen. Ismail Aramza’s tenure as NATO’s senior civil representative has been completed and he will be replaced by German diplomat Cornelius Zimmermann.
