Representatives of six countries from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, India, China and Iran will meet today in Moscow to discuss the peace process in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said that the director of policy and strategy department of MoFA will attend the meeting on behalf of Afghanistan. Shekib Mustaghni, spokesman for MoFA, said that the meeting is not an alternative for peace talks. He added that the meeting can be seen as cooperation to support peace process in Afghanistan. Earlier a similar meeting was held in Moscow to which Afghanistan was not invited.
