Local officials in Ghazni reported that two sick women died due to severe cold weather and blockage of road in parts of the province. Hafizullah Gulistani, provincial director of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) told Killid this morning that the two sick women died in Malistan district when they were on their way to a hospital for treatment. He added that severe cold and road blockage claimed their lives. He further stated that due to blockage of district’s road with provincial capital, they have failed to provide the exact number of casualties of the recent heavy raining and snowfalls. Earlier four people including three women died on Jaghori-Ghailan road due to blockage of roads and lack of access to health facilities.
