Local officials in Ghazni province said that the number of people killed by avalanches has crossed 10. Local officials added that they could not deliver aid to affected families in the areas. Provincial officials at Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) said that freezing weather has claimed 6 lives for the past 24 hours, soaring the death toll to 10. They asserted that road blockage hampered air delivery to the affected areas. Meanwhile some residents of Malistan district protested over blockage of roads in recent heavy raining and snowfall today. They warned that the casualties might increase unless the roads are being opened.
