Office of the chief executive reported that the colour of school uniform for girls will soon change from black to blue and gray. A press release from office of chief executive sent to Killid stated that the issue was decided over in ministerial plenary session, chaired by Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, yesterday. The statement added that Ministry of Education (MoE) proposed blue uniform for primary students, gray for secondary students, and dark blue colour for high school students. Abdullah Abdullah stressed that a uniformed dress creates discipline in schools. Meanwhile Asadullah Hanif Balkhi, education minister, said that UAE Red Crescent Society has promised to help 40,000 dresses to Afghan schools in near future. Abdullah Abdullah has instructed education ministry to donate the dresses to poor children.
