(The sound of Father calling from far about the ice-creams)
Laila: (With hurry) I am not going to eat ice-cream… if you would like; go alone… I am going home because it is late… my mom told me to come early home because we are going somewhere…
Sajida: (With Wonder) Why? Before you said that you are going to eat… if you don’t have money; no problem I will purchase… you are my friend…
Laila: (With Hurry) I said that I am not eating… why you are forcing… I told you that I am going home…
Father: (From Far) Laila… Laila daughter… come and take an ice-cream…

Mother: (With herself) ah… my waist is almost not working anymore… I am also feeling pain in my shoulder… but it is good… I finished the last ones as well… I will hand over all of them to the shop and within a week I will get its payment as well…
(Door opening sound force)
Mother: (With anxiety) what is the problem Laila Jan… Slowly daughter… you were almost near to break the door… why you are angry… you also forgot to say hello…
Laila: (With hatred) I am not going to school anymore… and not studying…
Mother: (With worry) why; what is the problem daughter… the teacher told you something…have you fought with your classmate? Why you are sad without any reason… tell me the truth so that I understand… you made me too worry; what is the problem?
Laila: (Weeping) I was going to take ice-cream with Sajida… I saw that my father was in front of our school and was selling ice-cream… I got angry… you know in front of all he called me… I really shamed over there… I also did not recognize him in front of them… I came home… I cannot go to school anymore… everyone will laugh at me…
Mother: (With anger) what are you saying? Your father has not attempted a bad work… with his own struggles he is getting lawful money… Is someone ashamed of her father? Is this something that you are saying? You are going to school… you are an intelligent girl; don’t say these words…
Laila: (With sadness) I don’t know anything… if my father sell ice-cream in front of our school then I won’t go to school… everyone will laugh at me…
Mother: (Seriously) it’s enough… don’t say these nonsense words… put efforts… let them grow well… and finally they shame on you… see this day… hey God…
Father: (With Tiredness) thank you lady… I am too tired… today I went many places… the weather is also cold… the ice-creams are not sold as previously… I need to search for another work…
Mother: (With kindness) It is ok… the God is kind… don’t worry… you may find a good job… now drink you tea to get rid of this tiredness…
Father: (With anxiety) where is Laila? (Calling) Laila… Laila daughter… where are you and you are not coming to your father?
Laila: (Unhappily) Hello… hope you are not tired…
Father: (With Kindness) come… come and sit beside me…tell me what are new things… today I came in front of your school… I also saw you… but the much I called you; you didn’t reply; no problem… I think you were busy…
Mother: (Unhappily) she heard but she shamed to come to you…
Father: (With Kindness) let me tell you something daughter… personality and honor of a person is not based on his apparently conditions… I was also not like this from the beginning… suddenly I became like this… the disability is not a shame… if a person has bad behavior and actions then this is bad…
Laila: I know father… I didn’t do a good work… anyway I am your child… I have reached this place because of your struggles…
Father: I am struggling with this condition to find out some lawful food… because the hands of my wife and children won’t remain begging for others… if each and every disabled person shame on work and won’t come out of the home then what would be his future?
Laila: (With anxiety) you are right dear father… forgive me… I am really shamed on what I have done… I proud on you that you are this much hard worker… and it is all because of our comfort…
Message of Drama: Having disabled parents is not a defect… personality and dignity of a person is based on his behavior and honor that he has; disability is a natural issue and most of the people are facing with it but they have managed their lives successfully.
