What is RSS?
Monday, 19 July 2010 13:14
TKG’s analytical website now broadcasts its news through RSS (Really Simple Syndication).
RSS is a simple way that enables you to automatically access the latest news and info from our website and other websites or blogs in a timely manner.
How to receive the latest articles added to the site through RSS
For this, you need to have a program called "RSS Reader".
Also, the news and reports are updated throughout the day on our website - the summary of these articles along with pictures will automatically be transferred to your RSS Reader through RSS technology.
How you can download the RSS Reader program?
There many types of RSS Reader programs.
For more details about the program, you can do a search on the internet. You can fully download the RSS Reader software on your computer free of charge.
The important point in this program is that some of the RSS Readers don’t support some languages so please make sure your software has such a capability before you install it.
Let us introduce the three programs you can use here:
1. Snarfer is a program that is very small with a higher speed, and it can support Pashto and Dari languages well.
2. GreatNews is a program similar to Snarfer with more capabilities and of course it larger in size and is called RSS Reader Conscious.
3. Google Reader doesn’t need to be installed on a computer and it can be used online - it is perfect.
In order to use Google Reader, you need to open an account either in Google or Gmail.
How to access TKG stories and news by using RSS
