The new deaths pushed the overall tally of fatalities to 7,118, according to health ministry’s official data.
It also recorded 72 new infections in the same period, taking the total to 153,220.
Health ministry’s data showed that coronavirus that 41 patients got better in the 24-hours period.
Although COVID-19 infections has been dropping, officials ask residents to follow health measures or a new wave of the disease will be likely.
