Gunmen opened fire and killed three members of a family last night around 10:00 local time.
The family had gone to a garden in Nawbadam village of the district, Ahmad Zia Zia, deputy spokesman for Afghan Ministry of Interior, said.
Three members of the family, including two women and a child, were killed and eleven others wounded in the attack.
The spokesman added that children and women were among the wounded and were taken to hospital and the incident was under investigation.
No one has claimed responsibility and there was no arrest made.
