An IED placed inside a flower plot went off last night around 9:00pm local time in Dar-al-Aman road, the sixth district of Kabul city, said the Afghan Ministry of Interior.
The attack left one policeman injured, according to Ahmad Zia Zia, the ministry’s deputy spokesman.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
Mr. Zia, however, said the perpetrators will be hunted down and brought to justice.
Afghan authorities in the Ministry of Interior blame Taliban for explosions while the group denies involvement.
