Unknown gunmen on Tuesday morning attacked on vaccination drive workers in separate places in Nangarhar province, provincial officials said.
According to governor’s spokesman, Ataullah Khogyani, the attacks took place in Khogyani and Surkhrod districts, killing one and five others wounded.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
On March too, gunmen killed three female polio vaccination workers in Jalalabad.
