A statement released by NDS 02 read that Special Forces carried out overnight operations in Jalalabad city, provincial capital of Nangarhar.
According to the statement, Nasibullah, involved in group’s major attacks and Mohammad Nabi, its finance officer, were arrested during the operations.
Nasibullah, as the statement read, had planned and carried out attacks in Jalalabad city and other districts of the province.
There was no comment from the armed group.
