Mohammad Dawood Laghmani on Saturday, May 29, officially took office as new governor of Ghazni province, the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) took to Twitter.
Earlier he had assumed office as governor of the northern Faryab province. READ MORE
He took the office at a ceremony held at an army base in Maimana city.
Faryab residents, however, protested the appointment as they took to streets.
