Residents of Afghanistan’s eastern Laghman province have been affected by recent clashes in the province and forced to flee their homes, said Reza Jafari, a spokesman for the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC).
According to him, warring parties are responsible to protect civilians.
He emphasized on end to violence in the country, urging the warring sides agree to permanent ceasefire and lasting peace in the country.
Violence once again soared in Afghanistan following a three-day Eid ceasefire.
