A car collided with a truck in Samarkhel area of Jalalabad city, Nangarhar’s provincial capital, on Saturday evening, said governor spokesman Ataullah Khogyani.
Two people, including a woman, were killed and five others wounded in the accident, he said.
Two women and three children were among the wounded, according to the spokesman.
Drivers’ negligence, high speed and collapsed roads are believed to be the main causes and factors that contribute to car collisions in Afghanistan.
