As many as seven people got injured in a blast which took place today afternoon in Faizabad city, said governor spokesman Nek Mohammad Nazari.
Munira Alemyar, member of Badakhshan provincial council, was also among the wounded, he said.
According to the spokesman, those who injured in the bombing were rushed to hospital and were in a good health condition.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
